Warranty type Class A:
Vehicle has an odometer reading of less than 160 000km and was manufactured
less than 10 years ago before the day of sale. Vehicle is warranted free from
defects from 3 months after the day the vehicle is sold when the dealer is
opened for business, which is counted from 5 PM on the first day other than
Sunday or public holiday, or until the vehicle travels 5000 km after it is
sold.
Warranty type Class B:
Vehicle has an odometer reading of 160 000 km or more and was manufactured at
least 10 years before the day of sale. Vehicle is warranted to be free from
defects from 1 month after the dealer's business is opened, which is counted
from 5 PM on the first day other than Sunday or public holiday, or after the
vehicle travels 1000 km after it is sold.
We warrant (Class A and B) that:

The vehicle is free from defective parts (please read below about parts that
are not covered), at the time of sale and warranty period. A part is considered
defective if it does not perform its intended function or has deteriorated to
an extend where it cannot reasonably be relied on to perform its intended
function.

The dealer will repair free of charge the defects in the vehicle, reported
during warranty period.

Following Parts are not covered by statuary warranty:

Any defects in tires, batteries, lights and radiator hoses.

A defect in vehicles fitted airbags.

A defects in the vehicles installed radio, CD-player or tape player.

For class B warranty a defect in the vehicle air-condition system.

Any defects in the vehicle's paintwork or upholstery that should have been
apparent on any reasonable inspection of the vehicle before the buyer took
delivery.

Any defects after the buyer takes delivery arising from or incidental to any
accidental damage to the vehicle or arising from the buyer's misuse or
negligence.

Any defects in an accessory to the vehicle not fitted to the vehicle when sold.
The following used vehicle are not covered by this statuary warranty:

An unregistered motor vehicle that is:

Incapable to be registered in Queensland because of its design or
-
Sold for wrecking or dismantling or
-
A motor vehicle sold on consignment unless the owner of the vehicle is a motor
dealer of an auctioneer or
-
A caravan or
-
A motor cycle or
-
A commercial vehicle (which is a vehicle built manly for carrying or hauling
goods or designed to carry more than 9 persons. However a utility with a normal
load carrying capacity of one tonne or less is not a commercial vehicle and has
a statutory warranty).
